We already covered the most interesting places in Kharkiv worth visiting if you are staying with us — or simply looking for somewhere to go.
Now a few more that also deserve attention. They can rightly be called city landmarks. Here is the list:
Contents
Sarzhin Yar
A beautiful spot with a clean spring. Rich history and remarkable landscapes. Recently renovated for regular visits, so you can enjoy Sarzhin Yar in comfort.

Children’s railway
A unique little railway. If you love trains and short trips but cannot travel far, this is an ideal outing.

Cable car
Usually a mountain-resort feature — yet Kharkiv’s Nova Bavaria area has a working cable line about 1.5 km long with a top height of ~30 m. Visit if you can.

Shevchenko Garden
A large park with many attractions (mostly in summer). Perfect for a walk with friends.

Gorky Park
A huge park many call Kharkiv’s calling card. We saved the best for last: the Ferris wheel gives a panoramic view for a symbolic fee. Evenings are best — lantern lights make the park glow.

Still choosing where to stay? We welcome you at our hostel network — even the largest group of friends.
